Whale & dolphin watching
Mirissa · 1 hourBlue, humpback and killer whales, whale sharks and dolphins off Sri Lanka's southern tip.
The Experience
A chef in the kitchen, a butler at hand and the south coast on your doorstep. The Boat House is as full or as quiet as you want it to be.
The table
The house has internationally trained chefs who cook to your exact taste: Sri Lankan flavours, international dishes or familiar home cooking, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served whenever suits your day.
On the coast the fish, shrimp and crab are caught fresh, and the fruit runs to mango, pineapple, papaya and passion fruit. Vegetarian and children's meals are no trouble, and packed lunches and picnics go out for day trips.
Meals are charged simply at the cost of the ingredients, with receipts for everything. Shopping, cooking and clearing away are all taken care of.
The team
A full team lives onsite: a private butler, the chefs, houseboys and gardeners, all of it included in the price. Discreet when you want space, ever present at the right moments.
They'll arrange transfers, book a whale-watching boat, set up a massage and quietly keep everything running, from morning until evening, so you don't have to think about any of it.
